Yugala means a pair or a set of two things united in harmony, such as the union of masculine and feminine energies. Throughout the year I have been experimenting with Granular Synthesis by taking a neoclassical styled piece from the album Closing of Time (2022), doing a gentle remaster, and then using that track as a source to build a granular ambient drone that morphs and moves. These where released on streaming platforms as a duo pair each month, the original neoclassical piece and its new shared DNA ambient drone counterpart. In the drone counterpart you should hopefully still feel and hear the same harmonic structure of its included parent track.
